These are some milestones
in my professional career.

Star Wars Episode I Online Comic. I don't think I need to say anything about why I did this one. Suffice to say I checked off another of my "Things to do in California" task list after this project. At the premiere of the film I was chanting the first ten minutes of dialog along with my partner Anna.

LiveWired
This was the project that taught me the most about doing large scale projects
on the web. It was Wired Digital's conceptual art piece and DHTML research project.
It's included on every win95/win98/NT cd with IE4, and there is probably a link
to it from your "start" button (start -> favorites -> Channels
-> News and Technology -> Wired).
Animation
Express
This was one of my last projects I worked on at Wired and one of
the most fun. Animation express is a media intensive site that serves
as a showcase for internet animation.
Dreamweaver
XSSI extensions
My very last project while working for Wired, I helped design and program extensions
to author and translate Apache's XSSI features so they would appear in Macromedia's
Dreamweaver. This project contained many challenges, such as communicating programming
concepts to non-programmers, that I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed
working on.
Webmonkey
Javascript Code Library
I have always felt that there needed to be a CPAN
for javascript. Why should Perl programmers have it so easy? The Webmonkey javascript
library is a place where one can find useful javascript to incorporate into
their pages, and a place for javascript authors to distribute their code.
HotWired
I've done a variety of projects under the blanket umbrella of HotWired.
From being keeper of the toolbar, to the DHTML front door, I've
been involved in lots of the "high end" navigational experiments.
PoTF
PoTF stands for Page of The Future, HotWired's unofficial, employee
run newsletter. It was the weekly alternative voice in the Wired
Digital media empire. I'd use the forum to play around with design
ideas, spoof events in the industry, and generally act as a court
jester for the company.
Understanding
User Testing
For one of the PoTF issues I had made a movie about user testing.
We had just started doing user testing at wired and were just getting
used to seeing how people really interacted with our sites.
HP
Designing the Future
I did some contract engineering, webmasted and designed yet another DHTML toolbar
for Hewlett-Packard's Designing the Future website (note: it's about hardware
chips, not futurism :-)
